Quick Start Guide:
- Mount the Tower: Secure the single-tap tower to your refrigerator, mini-fridge, or keezer—wherever you plan to serve your nitro coffee. You may need to drill a hole to connect the beverage line from the tower to the refrigerated space.
- Clean Your Equipment: For the best taste and hygiene, thoroughly clean your keg and draft system. We recommend using the 1-2 Cold Brew Cleaning & Sanitizing Kit.
- Fill the Keg: Pour your pre-brewed cold brew coffee into the keg and seal it with the Quick Cascade Keg Lid.
- Attach the Draft Line: Connect the draft line to the keg’s liquid-out post using the ball lock connection, making sure the tower faucet remains closed.
- Set Up the Nitrogen Tank: Attach the regulator to the nitrogen tank (ensure the tank is filled). Slowly open the nitrogen valve to pressurize the regulator.
- Attach the Gas Line: Connect the gas line to the Quick Cascade Lid on the keg.
- Adjust Pressure: Open the regulator’s shut-off valve and gradually increase the pressure by turning the screw clockwise. To reduce pressure, turn the screw counterclockwise.
- Nitrogenate the Coffee: Once the pressure reaches 35-45 psi, allow the keg to sit for 15-30 minutes, giving the coffee time to absorb the nitrogen for that signature creamy, smooth texture.
